Kumagai Music Studio is a recording studio, accompaniment practice, and music label — built for musicians who care how it sounds and how it’s released.

KMS is led by an engineer/producer who treats sessions as craft — listening first, gear second, ego never. The room is designed for real work: tracking, classical collaboration, technical rescue, and release packaging.
We’re in Ann Arbor, Michigan — close enough for university calendars and independent schedules, quiet enough to get something done.

Nash holds court between sessions — friendly, curious, and generally convinced that every click track could use a walk. Guests are welcome to say hello; if you need a pet-free day, just say so when you book.
